Gifts : Mothers Reflect on How Children with Down Syndrome Enrich Their Lives

The Gifts Outreach program provides complimentary copies of Gifts to organizations which serve parents facing a new diagnosis of Down syndrome for their child, either prenatally or postnatally. We believe that the stories in the book provide a vital companionship and support for such parents.

Back from Spring Break '08

We went to Texas to see BigDawg's dad, Nash's grandpa over spring break. Wonderful 75 degree plus weather except for one day. We even managed to avoid the American Airline cancellations! We went to Six Flags, had a nice dinner at Cousin Julie and George's (who is a hoot!), Texas Rangers Opening Day, relaxing by the pool, Ft. Worth Zoo and a date night out for mom and dad. What else can you ask for?

Six Flags and what great weather and NO LINES! Nash's new love is the roller coaster...the big ones! Here he is wet from his other love, the log rides where you get soaked. Nash and Daddy did this one several times.

Buffalo Butt Beer at Booger Red's Saloon! Nash kept saying "lets go upstairs and see the girls" Huh?? Daddy did you teach him that one?

At the Stockyards. Uh, Nash, those boots are $1,400.00!! But they are a nice cranberry color!

We did a lot of this much needed R & R!

We love Texas, and thank you PaPaw! And thank you Gaga for babysitting our other boy Seger!
