Happy 1st Birthday Seger!

our boy is one year today! Nash sang his heart out to Grandma yesterday as it was her birthday, and today is Seger's one year birthday, to which he belted out a wonderful tune. And on a parent note, I have to say how much our Seger means to our family. We lost Rudy before our move and Nash's beginnings into the elementary school years. Being an only child, and one with special needs, we knew that Nash needed a sibling, and believe me we tried for years for one biological sibling. It wasn't meant to be. So Seger has been a blessing for our family. While Nash has family close by, everyone is so busy with their lives or otherwise, so Nash sees them on a rare occasion. So Seger is there for Nash, he never judges Nash, and greets him morning, day and night. Seger protects Nash and yet also encourages him by showing him he will always be there; no matter what.
