1st day of 1st grade.......he made it through!

now only 179 days to go!

He came home so enthused, so energetic and so full of stories! He said he sat by Edy at lunch, ate chicken nuggets, played outside.....hmmm no mention of any school work. His teacher sent a note that he had a great day (exclamation mark inserted) and didn't have to turn a "card"...they use a color card system for discipline for him just like all the kids.

Here are pics of leaving for the bus, and the bus coming, his excitement, and yes, tears were flowing. But they were Mom's tears.

So when you asked him what he learned at his first day at school, did he reply "not enough, they want me back tomorrow..."?
