The Gifts Outreach program provides complimentary copies of Gifts to organizations which serve parents facing a new diagnosis of Down syndrome for their child, either prenatally or postnatally. We believe that the stories in the book provide a vital companionship and support for such parents.

Why Inclusion is so Important...

What is Inclusion, why is it so important for those with disabilities as well as those without? Go HERE.

Gabe, Meredith Viera's son, who just experienced a week at Camp Pals, just learned why and he told his mom:

“You know, when I first got here, it was so easy to tell the difference between 'them' and 'us.' But by the end, I couldn’t distinguish between the campers and the counselors. We were all the same."

I read the article, how inspirational for other young people. I to agree how important inclusion is and hope when I am teaching I can make a difference.
