What is a Buddy Walk? The 2005 Buddy Walk is a fundraising event designed to raise awareness about people with Down syndrome. It is a day of fun for the entire family! The 8th annual IDSF Buddy Walk is being coordinated by the Indiana Down Syndrome Foundation, in partnership with the National Down Syndrome Society. Walks take place all across the United States. There is no registration fee for the Buddy Walk; however, donations are greatly appreciated. Proceeds from the walk help fund programs and services of the IDSF in support of individuals with Down syndrome and their families. Entertainment will be provided by Chris Burke, of "Life Goes On", and there will be booths, food, and lots of fun. If you are unable to attend, but would like to support the Buddy Walk, you can help by donating to our team NUTS ABOUT NASH, on the internet, or by mailing a check by September 23rd. If you would like to donate online to IDSF and NUTS ABOUT NASH go here If you would like to mail a donation, make the check payable to IDSF and send it to IDSF Buddy Walk ATTN: Team Nuts About Nash 3050 North Meridian Street Indianapolis, IN 46208 You can make a difference. Thanks for your support, and remember all donations must be in before September 23rd to count to our team goal! Jan, Jeff and Nash |
