The Gifts Outreach program provides complimentary copies of Gifts to organizations which serve parents facing a new diagnosis of Down syndrome for their child, either prenatally or postnatally. We believe that the stories in the book provide a vital companionship and support for such parents.

Nash and I have our own speech sessions.....

he has a new phrase from a favorite movie- Little Rascals, and our speech session goes like this:

Nash: Darla, I hate your stinkin' guts. You make me want to "bomit".

Mommy: Nash, its "Vomit". V V V Vomit.

Nash: Ok Mommy. You make me want to vomit.

Mommy: Good job!

ok, it ain't pretty but it works.
