Gifts : Mothers Reflect on How Children with Down Syndrome Enrich Their Lives

The Gifts Outreach program provides complimentary copies of Gifts to organizations which serve parents facing a new diagnosis of Down syndrome for their child, either prenatally or postnatally. We believe that the stories in the book provide a vital companionship and support for such parents.

And Now We Are Four

Seger is home, and what a wonderful golden retriever puppy he is! He is 8 weeks, and 18 lbs. His ride home from Ohio was perfect. He slept most of the time, and pottied when we stopped. Nash loves him dearly, and is better with him- being gentle! Seger slept through the first night in our bed with his "baby" from the litter- a stuffed animal his "birth mom" gave us. He woke us up twice to tell us he had to potty. The breeder certainly did her job as he is laid back, playful and not fearful at all. We love our newest family member!

Introducing Seger to Nash - Hi brother! Mom's first kiss!

At home with dad and playing!

One relaxed puppy, in his bear rug! He has been going to the door to whine to potty, what a smart boy!
Merry Christmas to all!
