On the Second Anniversary of Katrina

Do you think you understand the devastation, the life upheaval, the haunting memories that Katrina dealt the people of New Orleans and Mississippi? Yes?

I bet not. Read this powerful, descriptive post by a wonderful writer I found through another blog....and read her often.

I went through Andrew. We didn't have the flood waters to worry about, but it was the scariest thing I have ever been through in my entire life! And living ina place affected by a hurricane afterwards is almost as bad! It's an experience I never want to face again! Of course now that I live in Indiana, I won't have to experience it!

I recently wrote my experience on our blog:

I can tell you even my words can not express just HOW BAD it really was. I do know that we didn't have it as bad as tose in Katrina.

Thanks for pointing us to the article.
